Overview
"In medical school, we do a rotation in each specialty. When I came up on my OBGYN specialty, the first week I had my first delivery, and I couldn't stop smiling for a month after that. I really fell in love with the practice, and knew that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life."
Steven Rood, DO is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. He provides comprehensive OBGYN care for women of all ages, treating patients through early adulthood, pregnancy and childbirth, into menopause and beyond.
Dr. Rood is originally from a small town in Pennsylvania called Oil City. He and his wife, a Buffalo native, moved to Western New York after the birth of their second child to be closer to family.
