Maria (Mia) Sweet is a registered physician assistant (PA) who provides comprehensive outpatient women's health care to patients at the Queen City OBGYN office in Depew. Mia received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in physician assistant studies from Daemen University, where she received a clinical excellence award during her rotations.
Mia chose OBGYN as a specialty because of her genuine interest in all aspect of women's health. She specializes in general OBGYN care, providing high-quality care to patients during their office visits at Queen City OBGYN. Some specific conditions that Mia treats and manages in her patients are:
- Contraception care (Inserting IUDs and Nexplanon)
- Dysmenorrhea
- Endometriosis
- PMS (Premenstrual syndrome)
- Postpartum mood changes
- Routine GYN care, including PAP smears and colposcopies
- Routine obstetrical care
She enjoys the opportunity to care for her patients through their very first GYN visit, through pregnancy, and into postmenopausal care.
