Alexander Eswar, MD, FACOG

Alexander Eswar, MD, FACOG is an accomplished gynecologic surgeon and board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. He specializes in the patient-focused care of complex gynecologic symptoms and diseases, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures that improve patient outcomes and reduce recovery times.

Dr. Eswar is a prominent leader amongst gynecologic surgeons in Western New York, as the Associate Program Director of Kaleida Health’s minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, a program which he is also a graduate of. He also completed a gynecology and obstetrics residency at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo and received his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.

Dr. Eswar was inspired to practice medicine after he and his twin brother – also a gynecologic surgeon – grew up watching their father’s career as an orthopedic surgeon. Outside of work, Dr. Eswar loves spending time with his wife and five children, and says you can usually find them at the kids’ soccer games, or skiing in Ellicottville during colder weather.
